1. General Riven Notes:

Rivens are not essential for most players.

Only invest if you’re at a high skill level aiming to optimize.

For a Riven to be worth equipping on a weapon, it needs to replace at least one mod of the rivenless build.

Velocitus (Volt only, Necramech)

Usage: Uncharged shots through Volt Shield + Damage Blessing

Grades matter and usually need to be around B or higher.

Note: Fire Rate is usable in a squad with Volt and Jade

Corvas (Chroma, Necramech)

Easier stat requirements, no Blessing or Crit Chance needed, riven affects amount of charge needed

Note: Fire Rate does not affect charge speed

🔴 Negatives

  • Harmless:

Prisma Dual Decurions (Mirage Solo/Squad with Deployer)

Buff-dependent to be viable, not ammo efficient

  • Poor disposition (0.5x); rivens rarely beat standard mods

!WARNING ⚠️ Deprecated Worse than Ogris in almost every way, unless you need it to cover toxin.

High disposition, flexible

  • Critical Chance (Must be over 156.5% for consistency)

    • Cold (requires replacing Ice Storm)

    • Zoom, Projectile Speed, Status Chance/Duration, Reload Speed, Faction Damage
  • Avoid:
    • Ammo Max, Magazine Capacity, Impact/Puncture/Slash

A good riven can mean the difference between needing one or two throws for some elements.

  • Volt: Element + Crit Damage + Melee Damage
  • Chroma: Element + Crit Damage + Attack Speed
