Profit-Taker Riven Reference Guide
1. General Riven Notes:
Rivens are not essential for most players.
Only invest if you’re at a high skill level aiming to optimize.
For a Riven to be worth equipping on a weapon, it needs to replace at least one mod of the rivenless build.
Always test for one-shot viability via:
- Altair grading bot (Profit-Taker Discord, use a/g + riven image)

2. Archguns
Velocitus (Volt only, Necramech)
Usage: Uncharged shots through Volt Shield + Damage Blessing
Grades matter and usually need to be around B or higher.

Note: Fire Rate is usable in a squad with Volt and Jade

Corvas (Chroma, Necramech)
Easier stat requirements, no Blessing or Crit Chance needed, riven affects amount of charge needed

A good riven can mean the difference between needing one or two throws for some elements.

Positioning
Tying in with the previous section, Profit-Taker’s movement and attacks are largely based on your position. Some things directly, others indirectly. With proper positioning, Profit-Taker will sit and stare at you without attacking or moving. A proper landing is the first step of good positioning as the first shield phase is when Profit-Taker is most mobile and likely to turn.
